A hacker claimed to have hacked Black Myth: Wukong, but refused to release the game online.

Cybersecurity researcher Maurice Heuman, who specializes in Denuvo security, announced that he has successfully bypassed the security system and cracked the action RPG Black Myth: Wukong. He said the process took several weeks, using his own tools and the help of like-minded community members.

A hacker claimed to have hacked Black Myth: Wukong, but refused to release the game online.

Heuman emphasized that he does not intend to distribute the cracked version of the game, as he does not want to break the law. His statement sparked a heated debate among users: some supported the decision not to publish a pirated copy and considered it respectful of the developers, while others suspected the researcher of deception and a desire to draw attention to himself. Some speculate that Heuman is deliberately attracting the attention of Denuvo's creators, hoping to sell them information about the vulnerability he discovered.

Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20, 2024, and since its release has been using the Denuvo security system, which has long been considered one of the most secure in the industry.
