Casio has released the miniature G-Shock Nano DWN-5600, which is worn on the finger

Casio has unveiled a unique version of its iconic watch, the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600. The device is a tenth-scale replica of the company's classic, the DW-5600, while retaining all the core functionality and signature reliability of the series.

This miniature device weighs 6 grams and measures 23.4 by 20 by 7.5 millimeters. It also features a true LCD screen with all the familiar G-Shock features, including a stopwatch, dual time, automatic calendar, and an indicator light. It is controlled by three buttons, and the backlight can be activated with a separate press.

Despite its tiny size, the Nano DWN-5600 is water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters and shock-resistant. The case houses high-density electronics and a small battery rated for two years of operation. The case and strap are made of recycled resin, and the latter is adjustable to fit finger sizes from 48 to 82 millimeters. A collectible silicone stand is also included.

The Nano DWN-5600 is positioned as the brand's most compact shock-resistant watch. The device will be available in three colors: black, red, and yellow. Sales in Japan will begin in November for 14,300 yen (almost $95), with a worldwide release expected soon.
