Zombies are on the attack: Marvel Rivals online has seen a significant increase after the limited-time mode

The superhero shooter saw a sharp increase in online usage after the introduction of a limited-time PvE mode featuring zombie hordes. This update revived players' attention and drove a significant increase in Steam activity.

From October 15th to 22nd, the daily concurrent user count remained at 88,000, dropping to 77,000 on some days. However, on October 23rd, the day the new mode was released, the number rose to 111,100, and reached 127,000 on October 24th and 25th. The game's previous record of 644,200 players remained unbeaten, but these results are among the best in recent months.

The zombie mode, added on October 23rd, offers battles against waves of the undead and will be available until November 14th. Players enthusiastically embraced the new feature and even urged the developers to make it a permanent part of Marvel Rivals, noting that this format is ideal for the dynamic nature of a superhero shooter.
