EA and Battlefield Studios have released Battlefield REDSEC, a free-to-play battle royale mode for Battlefield 6. The game is available on PC via Steam, the EA App, and EGS, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For owners of the base game of BF6, REDSEC is installed automatically with the Season 1 update. You can check for the mode's availability in the game settings under Install/Uninstall.

The new battle royale takes place in California on the expansive Fort Lyndon map. Players will explore numerous points of interest, complete missions, use various vehicles, and utilize the class system.
Along with the launch of Battlefield REDSEC, Season 1 of the main game began, including the new Blackwell Fields map, several weapons, and a Battle Pass with additional cosmetics for characters and weapons.
Battlefield 6 debuted on October 10th on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S and has sold over 7 million copies in its first three days. The latest patch, released alongside the season, introduced extensive changes and improvements to the title's balance and technical aspects.
