What's On Netflix reported that Netflix is ​​developing an animated series based on the famous Crash Bandicoot video game series. According to sources, WildBrain, the studio behind the Sonic Prime animated series, is producing the adaptation.

There have been no official statements from Netflix or Activision Blizzard, which owns the franchise. The plot of the upcoming animated series is being kept under wraps, and the names of the voice actors and showrunner have not yet been revealed.

Previously, Activision and Amazon were rumored to have tried to launch a Crash Bandicoot series, but the project fell through due to creative differences between the teams.

Currently, the latest game in the series is Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, released in 2021 and developed by Toys for Bob. The platformer received high praise from critics and players, scoring around 85 on OpenCritic and cementing the series' status as one of the most prominent in the PlayStation catalog.
