A paralyzed British man played Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 using a Neuralink implant

A British man suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) was able to play Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 using a Neuralink neural interface, controlling the game entirely with his mind. Just a few hours after the device was implanted, the patient was able to fully interact with the game without traditional controls.

According to Neuralink, the man is actively collaborating with the company's engineers, helping to test and expand the functionality of the neurochip. In addition to gaming, he uses the system for everyday tasks, which allows him to maintain greater independence and facilitates communication with others.

Neuralink specialists continue to monitor the patient's progress, studying how the technology can improve the quality of life for people with severe motor impairments. This is not the first time the implant has been used for gaming: users with the device have previously tried CS:GO, Mario Kart, and other titles.
