An iPhone with an under-screen camera will appear in 2027 — Apple is preparing an anniversary redesign

This move will allow the company to completely ditch the notch and Dynamic Island, creating a completely bezel-less display. The new technology will combine 3D Face ID and the under-screen selfie camera, while maintaining the familiar security and accuracy of facial recognition.

This information aligns with earlier reports from Instant Digital, who claimed that the iPhone 18 series would not yet feature an under-display camera and would only feature a smaller version of the Dynamic Island.
