Counter-Strike 2 has banned the ability to plant bombs on teammates' heads and launched a season of predictions for the Budapest Major 2025
A new update has been released for CS2, bringing both technical improvements and the launch of the Spectator Pass for StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. Players are once again invited to predict the tournament outcome and upgrade the special collector's coin awarded to pass holders.
One of the most notable changes was the removal of the trick that allowed players to plant C4 while standing on a teammate's head. The developers emphasize that this feature is now completely eliminated. Additionally, the update extended the default bullet mark display distance, updated the glove models and animations in the interface to Animgraph2, and added a flashing indicator to the bomb in first-person view. The color scheme of items in both the inventory and the Steam Market has also been updated to match the item quality. Additionally, the game has received performance improvements.

Gamers can now purchase the Budapest Major 2025 Pass and start making predictions to earn commemorative rewards before the start of the major esports event.
