An attempt to revive Concord has encountered resistance from Sony
A group of enthusiasts attempted to restore the closed shooter Concord, one of Sony's most notable failures. Several users under the pseudonyms Red, Real, and Gwog managed to launch an unofficial PC server in mid-November using reverse engineering. They did not open the project to the general public, allowing only members of their own Discord community to play.
A gameplay recording appeared on YouTube, showing Concord loading fully, matchmaking functioning, and the Clash Point mode operational. However, this progress attracted the attention of Sony. The channel that published the video received a DMCA strike for copyright infringement. Following this, the project's creators suspended server invites, although no direct demands have yet been received from Sony or its representatives.

Concord was released on August 23, 2024, for PC and PlayStation 5, but lasted less than a month before being shut down. On Metacritic, the game received a 62 from critics and only a 1.7 out of 10 from users. Players considered the shooter lackluster, technically weak, and too similar to Overwatch. Sony later completely liquidated Firewalk, the studio that had been developing the project.
