Battlefield 6 will be free to play during a major update
EA unveiled a major update for Battlefield 6, affecting both the main multiplayer and Redsec mode. To support the release of this new content, players will be given the opportunity to play for a limited time.

The trial period will run from November 25 to December 2 and will allow players to try out three maps and five game modes across all available platforms. One of the key additions is the Eastwood map—an elite neighborhood with villas and golf courses. Additionally, the game introduces the limited-time "Sabotage" mode, which challenges players to destroy as many targets as possible in a given round, as well as new weapons, an additional progression path, and other changes.
