The Worms series celebrated its 30th anniversary with a massive sale and gifts for players

Team17 Studios announced a sale on the entire Worms lineup and congratulated fans on the series' 30th anniversary. The first installment of the legendary video game series about swashbuckling worms was released on October 31, 1995, for MS-DOS, and the developers decided to celebrate the occasion with a series of promotions.

All twelve titles in the franchise are on sale until November 29, along with a free selection of Worms-themed desktop wallpapers. Games like Armageddon, Ultimate Mayhem, Reloaded, and the original game are available for purchase on Steam. The final chapter in the franchise, Across Worlds, remains exclusive to Apple Arcade.

In 2023, Team17 made significant cuts, including for the series' creators, but the anniversary campaign demonstrates that interest in Worms remains high.
