Hackers gained access to the Battlefield 6 story campaign
The hacker group RUNE was able to crack Battlefield 6, unlocking its single-player campaign. The full version of the game was not leaked, and the multiplayer mode remains functional only for owners of licensed copies.

The hack took over a month: the game was released on October 10, 2025. Despite the lack of Denuvo, the group had to overcome Steam's built-in protection, EA's own anti-cheat system, and the CodeVirtualizer system, significantly complicating the task.
The shooter's campaign takes place in the near future and focuses on a clash between the Dagger 13 squad and the Pax Armata PMC. The player is invited to follow the development of this conflict, which forms the basis of the game's storyline.
