Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launched significantly weaker than Battlefield 6
The GSD platform released European sales statistics for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which show that the new installment in the franchise had a much more modest launch. In its first week of release, the game's sales were 63% lower than BF6's during the same timeframe. Furthermore, demand for the game was lower than for the previous installment, Black Ops 6.

The report included data on physical and digital copies, but did not include the number of players who received access through a Game Pass subscription. This means that the title's actual audience must be significantly larger than the official sales figures.
Black Ops 7 launched on November 14 for PC and consoles. Upon launch, the title became the lowest-rated installment in the franchise based on user reviews, with a Metacritic score of 1.6 out of 10. The situation on PC is similar, with the majority of reviews being negative.
