CD Projekt aims to complete the new Witcher trilogy in just six years

CD Projekt reiterated its confidence that the three future installments of The Witcher series will be completed and released relatively quickly, despite rising budgets and longer development timelines in the industry. The company reported its results for the third quarter of 2025, after which studio head Michal Nowakowski confirmed that their strategy remains unchanged: the entire new trilogy should be released within a six-year period.

This means the gap between the release of the fourth and sixth installments of the saga will not exceed six years. The studio's management is not yet revealing how it plans to maintain this pace. Furthermore, it has become clear that The Witcher IV will not be released in 2026, despite early fan expectations.

The studio continues to develop other areas as well. Work is underway on a full-length sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, and they are also supporting the Fool's Theory team, which is working on a remake of the first The Witcher.
