The mod restored hundreds of cut elements from The Witcher 3, including dialogue, characters and hidden quest stages
The modding community continues to revitalize and expand The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and fans recently received one of the biggest updates yet. In the new version of the Brothers in Arms modification, the author managed to return to the game a huge layer of content that was once created by CD Projekt RED, but was never included in the release version.
According to the mod developer, thanks to the updated tools, he was able to fix and restore 5,750 elements. We are talking about both old errors and materials that were present in the game files, but were disabled for one reason or another. As a result, the total number of bugs fixed exceeded two thousand, and the number of restored dialogues approached eight hundred. In addition, previously unavailable characters, notes, books and other details that expand the world have returned to the game.

One notable change was the reworked prologue: Geralt can now interact with Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Ciri, rather than just watch the cutscene that previously automatically triggered when going down the stairs. A number of quests have new heroes, additional tasks and even full-fledged puzzles.
The creator of the project emphasizes that it is impossible to put an end to the work of restoring hidden dialogues. There are a huge number of unused lines and scenes within the game, and many of them are still being discovered. The modification includes both short phrases and full-fledged conversations with NPCs and even cutscene-level scenes.
The latest version of Brothers in Arms - Ultimate Edition is already available for download.
