The first Xbox 360 emulator has been released for Android – the app is now available on Google Play
A quiet but notable release has taken place on the Google Play Store: aX360e, the first Xbox 360 emulator officially hosted in the Google ecosystem, has entered public beta for Android. Although still in its early stages of development, the utility allows you to run iconic Xbox 360-era titles directly on smartphones and tablets.

aX360e is based on the well-known Xenia emulator, originally developed for Windows and Linux. The Android version is an unofficial port using the unfinished ARM64 backend of the Linux build. The project is being developed by Chinese enthusiast developer aenu, who previously released a PlayStation 3 emulator called aPS3e.
The author's previous work initially sparked controversy due to issues related to the licensing of open-source components, but the situation was later resolved after the source code was published on GitHub. In the case of the aX360e, the developer immediately announced their intention to open source the app once key technical issues were resolved and the app was closer to a more stable state.

The emulator itself doesn't include any games—users must provide their own dumps in GOD or ISO formats. Two versions of the app are available on Google Play: a free version with ads and a paid version priced at $6.99. They are functionally identical, with the only difference being the presence of ads.
