Telltale's Dispatch is coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2026

A page for Dispatch unexpectedly appeared on the Australian Nintendo eShop even before the official announcement. The description suggests that the project from AdHoc, a studio founded by former Telltale Games employees, will be released on Nintendo Switch on January 29, 2026.

The game will be available on both the original Switch and Switch 2. Owners of the current console version will be able to upgrade to the next-gen edition for free. Prior to release, the standard version is priced at approximately $40, while the deluxe edition is priced at just over $50.

Dispatch is a blend of visual novel, interactive cartoon, and management strategy in the vein of This is the Police. The story centers on Robert Robertson, a former superhero who now works as a dispatcher and is forced to lead a team of reformed villains. The project has a comedic tone and boasts a well-known cast, including Aaron Paul and the members of Critical Role.

The first eight episodes of the initial season premiered on October 22, 2025, and by mid-November had sold over two million copies. The series' future remains uncertain: the creators have only cautiously mentioned a possible second season and previously revealed that some scenes were cut during the development stage.
