Battlefield 6 Accused of Using AI After Strange Cosmetic Bug
The Battlefield 6 community has found itself embroiled in a new controversy surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in content development. The controversy stemmed from cosmetics from the latest Windchill pack, which quickly attracted the attention of players.
The fan account BF6Updates posted an image of one of the stickers, depicting a soldier with an M4A1 rifle. Users noticed a glaring anomaly: the weapon appeared to have two barrels, one above the other. Players believe this error is typical of generative neural networks and indicates that the asset may have been created using them without proper verification.

This discovery has prompted accusations of a lax approach to content quality and control. At the time of publication, there was no official comment from the Battlefield 6 developers, which only fueled the discontent of some players.
