Innioasis has released a modern iPod Classic with a click wheel

Innioasis has unveiled the Y1 portable player, which evokes the iconic iPod Classic in design. The device features a recognizable scroll wheel, but is not limited by the ecosystem's limitations and is equipped with a modern USB-C port and Hi-Fi audio support.

The front of the player features a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 360x480 pixels, beneath which is a circular playback control panel. The manufacturer claims support for 21 audio formats, including AAC, FLAC, and APE, as well as video playback in six formats.

The Y1 supports both wired and wireless headphones via Bluetooth 4.2, and a built-in equalizer allows for fine-tuning the sound. The 1250 mAh battery provides up to 35 hours of music playback or approximately eight hours of video playback. 128 GB of internal storage is used for content storage.

The player will be available in several colors, including turquoise, yellow, gray, orange, and silver. The recommended retail price in the US is $109.
