Rumor: Kingdom Come: Deliverance will receive native console versions in February 2026
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was once considered so hardware-intensive that Warhorse Studios was forced to make significant compromises when releasing the console versions. The limitations of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One prevented the game from achieving the same level of graphics and performance as the PC version. Over the years, the situation has changed: modern consoles have caught up with and even surpassed the capabilities of seven-year-old computers, paving the way for the game's return in an updated form.

According to insider bertik11, Warhorse Studios is preparing a remaster of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is not a full-fledged remaster with new content, but a native port of the PC version to current consoles. The developers intend to port the game without any shortcuts, taking advantage of the power of the new generation of hardware.
The release of these versions is reportedly scheduled for February 2026. If the rumors are confirmed, console players will finally be able to experience the historical RPG epic as it was originally envisioned by its creators, without the technical limitations that the project had to endure at its launch.
