Honor has unveiled TWS headphones that effectively replace a smartphone
Honor continues to reveal details of its January presentation and announced an unusual device from its Choice line that significantly goes beyond the usual wireless earbuds. The new product is positioned as a completely standalone device, capable of operating without a smartphone.
According to published information, the headset will support a SIM card and will be able to directly receive and make calls. The charging case will also feature its own display, displaying icons for various functions and apps. These include calls, messages, a gallery, and even a camera, hinting at an attempt to transform the earbuds into a miniature, standalone device with smartphone-like functionality.

Such experiments are nothing new for Honor. The company has previously surprised the market with hybrid devices, including a computer mouse with a built-in headset, demonstrating the brand's commitment to exploring unconventional electronics formats.
The full presentation of the new product will take place on January 5th at a major Honor event. The company will also showcase other devices there, including the Power 2 smartphone, which stands out for its 10,080 mAh battery.
