New video games based on Saw and John Wick are in the works
Lionsgate plans to expand its core franchises beyond film and television, and this may soon include video games based on the Saw and John Wick universes. The studio's intentions were revealed during a discussion of the company's financial results.
During a call with investors, Lionsgate Chairman Adam Fogelson touched on the topic of IP monetization. He indicated that the company is considering not only standard licensing agreements but also more ambitious projects, including investments in major game development. He stated that Lionsgate has the capabilities to create AAA games and other video game projects related to the John Wick and Saw franchises, as well as several other brands, which it plans to reveal later.

Discussions about returning these series to video game formats have been circulating for several years. Both franchises have previously received their own adaptations: Saw: The Video Game was released in 2009, and the tactical game John Wick Hex was released in 2020. However, both projects were eventually removed from digital stores and are now unavailable for purchase.
No official announcements have been made yet, but statements from Lionsgate management suggest that new Saw and John Wick games are at least under discussion and may be released in the foreseeable future.
