Amazon has revealed the cast of the Lara Croft series
The Tomb Raider TV series project, launched by Amazon several years ago, was in limbo for a long time, but now production has clearly moved forward. On the evening of January 6th, the creators officially announced the cast of the show dedicated to the adventures of the famous Tomb Raider.
Sophie Turner will play the lead role of Lara Croft, alongside Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs. Weaver will play one of the key antagonists, the wealthy and enigmatic Evelyn Wallis, who intends to use Lara's skills for her own ends. Isaacs will play Atlas de Mornay, the protagonist's uncle, a character already familiar to fans from Rise of the Tomb Raider and the related comics.

The series will also feature Winston the butler, played by Bill Paterson, and Zip the hacker from Tomb Raider: Legend and Underworld, played by Martin Bobb-Semple. The ensemble cast includes Jack Bannon, Celia Imrie, John Heffernan, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, and August Wittgenstein, who are all new characters not previously featured in the franchise.
The show is overseen by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who serves as writer, producer, and showrunner. A specific premiere date has not yet been announced.
