Rockstar launches official mod marketplace for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar Games announced the launch of a new initiative directly targeting the GTA V and RDR 2 modding community. The company unveiled its user-generated content marketplace, dubbed Cfx Marketplace, which will be developed under the supervision of the Cfx.re team, previously acquired by Rockstar.

The platform is designed as a centralized space for mod distribution. Content creators will be able to post their work, both free and commercial, including locations, scripts, asset packs, and other elements that expand gameplay capabilities and server functionality.
The primary focus is on the FiveM and RedM ecosystems—popular multiplayer platforms for GTA V and RDR 2 created by Cfx.re and long used by enthusiasts for role-playing and custom servers. These projects will be the primary beneficiaries of the new tool.

The Cfx Marketplace team has already begun accepting requests from mod authors and promises to stay in touch as the store grows and scales.
