Kodak unveiled the Printomatic+, a compact camera with instant photo printing
Kodak has expanded its line of entry-level digital cameras with the Printomatic+ Point-and-Shoot, designed for instant photography enthusiasts. This device combines the features of a point-and-shoot camera with those of a portable printer, allowing you to not only take a photo but also print it instantly, without connecting to other devices.
The camera features a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.8 aperture and a built-in Zink printer, which uses ink-free dye-sublimation printing technology. The finished photos are 2 x 3 inches in size. Printing can be disabled and photos can be saved exclusively in digital format to a microSD memory card.

An automatic LED flash is included for shooting in low light. An additional indicator built into the shutter button alerts the user in advance of a low battery, reducing the risk of missing an important moment.
In the US, the Kodak Printomatic+ is available in four colors—black, blue, pink, and yellow—for $79. Zink consumables cost approximately half a dollar per print.
