The RAM market has frozen: prices have stopped rising, but remain at their maximum
After a sharp spike, RAM prices have begun to show signs of stabilization. This is reported by industry media, citing data from PCPartPicker, analyzed by TechRadar. However, the current market situation is unlikely to please buyers, as this is not a price reduction, but rather a temporary halt in growth.
It is noted that the most popular 32GB DDR5 kits with frequencies of 5600 and 6000 MHz are no longer showing sharp fluctuations. However, stabilization has occurred at an extremely high level: such kits are now priced at approximately $800-900. This is significantly higher than the typical prices of recent years and makes system upgrades significantly more expensive.

Analysts attribute the current pause not to improved supply chains or increased production, but to a decline in demand. Buyers are apparently unwilling to accept current prices and are delaying purchases. By comparison, as recently as the fall of 2025, similar memory kits could be purchased for just over $200, highlighting the scale of the changes that have taken place.
