Rockstar allowed a seriously ill fan to try out GTA 6 before the game's release
A touching story related to Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced online. Anthony Armstrong, a UI integrator at Ubisoft Toronto, shared that a close relative of his, a longtime fan of the GTA series, has been diagnosed with a serious illness. Doctors have given the man 6-12 months to live and he may not see the official release of the new game.

Armstrong publicly appealed to Rockstar Games employees and the Toronto studio, asking for an early preview of GTA 6. He acknowledged the project's confidentiality and was willing to comply with any conditions, including signing a non-disclosure agreement. He also cited the fan's proximity to the Oakville studio, making it easier to arrange a meeting.
Armstrong later updated his post, stating that Rockstar representatives had contacted him and conveyed positive news. He did not share any details, but expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the initiative and helped bring the studio's attention to this situation.
