RedMagic 11 Air gets Snapdragon 8 Elite and PC gaming support
RedMagic has revealed the key specifications of its RedMagic 11 Air gaming smartphone, scheduled for its official unveiling on January 20. One of the device's key features is its active cooling system with a fan capable of spinning up to 24,000 RPM. At the same time, the device remains slim—just 7.85 mm thick—setting it apart from other gaming smartphones.

The RedMagic 11 Air is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with the company's proprietary Red Core R4 gaming support chip. The manufacturer also confirmed the use of fast UFS 4.1 memory and LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, which should improve loading times and overall system responsiveness.
Most interesting is the claimed ability to run PC games via emulation. According to RedMagic, the device can achieve approximately 60 FPS in games like the 2013 release of Tomb Raider. In mobile games, the performance is even more impressive: a stable 60 FPS in demanding titles and up to 144 FPS in competitive shooters and MOBAs, highlighting the device's focus on hardcore gamers.
