ARC Raiders and The Finals servers were hit by a DDoS attack

Embark Studios reported serious access issues to its online games. The servers of the action games ARC Raiders and The Finals were hit by a massive DDoS attack, causing players to experience service outages. The outages began early in the morning of January 28th and were still ongoing at the time of the developers' report, despite active efforts to stabilize the situation.

ARC Raiders users are complaining en masse of being unable to log in, experiencing frequent connection drops, and sudden crashes during matches. Emark confirmed that the response team has already implemented protective measures and made progress in countering the attacks, but has not yet been able to completely eliminate the threat.
