The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to feature a larger battery capacity
According to new information, Apple's next flagship smartphone will feature a larger battery than the current model. A Digital Chat Station insider claims that Apple is continuing its commitment to improving battery life by preparing a higher-capacity battery for the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
According to available information, the model with a physical SIM tray will have a battery capacity of approximately 5,000 mAh. The eSIM-only variant will have a battery capacity of approximately 5,200 mAh. For comparison, the current iPhone 17 Pro Max has 4,823 and 5,088 mAh, respectively.

Even a slight increase in capacity in Apple's new flagships typically results in a noticeable increase in battery life. This effect will be further enhanced by the new A20 Pro processor, which is expected to be manufactured using an advanced 2-nanometer process, ensuring greater power efficiency. Apple's upcoming proprietary C2 modem could further enhance battery life.
Earlier rumors also suggested that the upcoming foldable iPhone would feature a battery capacity of over 5,500 mAh, a record for a company product.
