Viewing lyrics on YouTube Music has become a limited premium feature
Google continues to revise the functionality of the free version of its YouTube Music streaming service. As part of the updated policy, access to lyrics, previously included as a standard feature, has been significantly limited for users without a Premium subscription.
According to the data, the free plan now allows users to view full lyrics only five times per month. After this limit is reached, only the first few lines of the lyrics are displayed. To access the full version, the service requires a paid subscription.

The lyrics tab itself now displays a special warning about the limitation, as well as a counter showing the number of free views remaining in the current month. This change was not announced globally, but is being gradually rolled out to users in different countries where YouTube Music is available.
