Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth development has been quietly shut down

Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, announced several years ago by publisher Annapurna Interactive, appears to have been cancelled. A notice has appeared on the game's Steam page stating that the product is no longer available for purchase, preceding the page's complete removal.

The publisher has made no official announcement regarding the project's cancellation, suggesting that development has quietly wound down. This decision seems logical given the studio's serious internal problems: in 2024, Annapurna Interactive lost almost its entire staff due to dissatisfaction with management.

Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth was intended to be the publisher's first in-house title, developed by its own studio without the involvement of outside contractors. The events would have taken place between the events of the two films and would have explored the aftermath of the Blackout, the event that halted the production of replicants. Since the initial announcement in 2023, the developers have not shared any details or screenshots of the project.
