Pacific Drive creators have raised major investment for a new project
Ironwood Studios, the creators of the sci-fi adventure Pacific Drive, have received a significant financial injection for development. Venture capital fund Lifelike Capital has invested $4 million in the indie team, which will be used to create their next game.
Studio CEO Cassandra Dracott announced the news, noting that the funding opens up new opportunities for the team. She stated that the partnership with investors and financial support allows the company to look with optimism to the future of video game development.

In the two years since its release, Pacific Drive has achieved significant commercial success. Sales have reached 1.5 million copies, and thanks to inclusion in PlayStation Plus and Game Pass subscriptions, the project's audience has expanded by an additional three million users. The game debuted in February 2024 on PC and PlayStation 5, and was released on Xbox Series consoles in October 2025. Until now, the only major expansion to the studio's debut hit was previously released DLC.
