A John Wick video game starring Keanu Reeves has been announced

Saber Interactive and Lionsgate have officially announced the development of a full-fledged video game dedicated to the iconic assassin John Wick. The project is in production under a working title; the final title will be revealed later. Keanu Reeves himself will star in the game, providing not only the character's appearance and voice but also directing his character design.

According to the developers, the game's plot will be completely original and will be a logical extension of the film universe, without repeating the events of the films. Players will immerse themselves in a new chapter in the legendary mercenary's story, set in the familiar world of professional assassins with its strict rules, secret organizations, and principles of honor.

The first gameplay trailer showcased the key features of the combat system. The gameplay focuses on a hybrid combat style, seamlessly blending hand-to-hand combat and gunplay. Particular emphasis is placed on seamless transitions between melee and ranged combat, as well as the use of environmental objects. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
