Activision paid streamer xQc $1 million for 12 hours of Warzone play

Popular streamer Felix "xQc" Lengyel revealed details of his partnership with Activision, which earned him a record-breaking fee in a short period of time. According to the content creator, the company paid him $1 million for a Call of Duty: Warzone stream lasting just twelve hours.

Initially, the publisher had planned a more modest partnership, offering the streamer one or two broadcasts over the course of two weeks. However, xQc remained unresponsive throughout the season, forcing Activision to agree to unconventional terms. In an attempt to utilize the remaining advertising budget, the company offered Lengyel the opportunity to host the entire planned stream in a single day, which he agreed to. The $1 million earned was the largest and shortest sponsorship deal of his career.

The popular streamer's income isn't limited to gaming contracts. According to Lengyel, standard advertising during his streams alone can bring in around $50,000 daily. Even more impressive was the fifteen million dollar payout for hosting a gambling-themed stream.
