ARC Raiders fans attacked a real Italian hotel with fake reviews
The ARC Raiders action game community found a unique way to make fun of the real-life Stella Montis Hotel in Italy, which shares a name with one of the game's popular maps. Gamers began leaving humorous reviews of the establishment on Google Maps, parodying in-game situations and gameplay features.

In the comments, users complained about enemies suddenly appearing nearby, unexpected firefights in the lobby, and problems with the medical building, where corpses were allegedly scattered. Some hotels noted that the hotel is sometimes visited by flute-wielding guests, and that the main danger is posed by so-called Grinders. Reviews of the establishment ranged from warnings to solo travelers to ironic praise for the friendly staff.
Emark Studios CEO Patrick Söderlund admitted he was unaware of such fan entertainment. After reviewing the reviews, he appreciated the community's humor but expressed sympathy for the hotel owners and considered the need for an apology on behalf of the company. As a reminder, the multiplayer project ARC Raiders was released in the fall of 2025 on all current platforms.
