Sophie Turner as Lara Croft was caught by paparazzi on the set of the Tomb Raider series
The first photos from the set of the new series based on the cult video game Tomb Raider, which is being developed by streaming giant Amazon, have surfaced online. Paparazzi captured the lead actress, Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, and Martin Bobb-Semple, who plays the hacker Zip, familiar to fans from Tomb Raider: Legend.
The photos capture a dynamic chase scene: Lara Croft, apparently having just stolen an ancient dagger, is fleeing pursuers on a motorcycle with her partner. The shots offer a first glimpse of the project's visual style and allow us to appreciate how the new actress is portraying the legendary Tomb Raider.

The show boasts a stellar cast. Amazon previously announced that, in addition to Turner, the project will also feature the legendary Sigourney Weaver, known for her work on Alien, Ghostbusters, and Avatar, as well as Jason Isaacs, familiar to audiences for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter saga. The exact premiere date has not yet been revealed, but insiders predict the series will hit screens no earlier than 2027.
