An insider has revealed details about the flagship Xiaomi 17 Max

Reputable insider Digital Chat Station has shared detailed information about the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone, which is expected to be one of the most interesting devices in the Chinese manufacturer's lineup. According to the leak, the new model will be significantly different from the base models, offering a number of significant improvements.

The key feature of the Xiaomi 17 Max will be its record-breaking 8000 mAh battery, which will ensure impressive battery life even under the most intensive workloads. Support for 100-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless charging will quickly top up the battery. At the heart of the device will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which will deliver superior performance.

The developers have placed special emphasis on the camera. The main module will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE sensor, complemented by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens based on a Sony sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. This configuration will allow for detailed photos with optical zoom without loss of quality. The traditional collaboration with Leica promises signature color reproduction and advanced image processing algorithms.

The smartphone will feature a large 6.9-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, surrounded by ultra-thin bezels on all sides. Unlike the Pro and Pro Max versions, this model will not feature a secondary display on the rear panel, allowing for a record-breaking battery while maintaining a body thickness of just 8.2 millimeters. The audio system will feature two symmetrically positioned speakers, providing immersive sound.

The official presentation of the Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to take place in April of this year in the Chinese market. There is no information about a global release yet.
