Fans suspect Iron Galaxy is working on a Fallout: New Vegas remake

Keen-eyed Fallout fans have discovered yet another hint at the possible return of the cult game New Vegas. The excitement was sparked by a LinkedIn post from Iron Galaxy, where the company shared impressions of a February employee meeting to discuss future projects. At first glance, the seemingly ordinary corporate post didn't promise any revelations, but fans saw something more.

The community's attention was drawn to a photograph accompanying the post. The image depicted two monitors where the developers were presenting, and both screens displayed the familiar loading screen from Fallout: New Vegas. Coincidence or a carefully concealed hint? Given Iron Galaxy's reputation as a studio specializing in ports and remasters of popular games for various platforms, the possibility of a revival of the legendary spin-off seems entirely reasonable.

Especially since Iron Galaxy already has a history of successful collaboration with Bethesda Softworks. This studio was responsible for creating the VR versions of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4, and also ported Skyrim to the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. So entrusting them with the remake, or at least the remaster, of New Vegas would be a logical move for the publisher.

Fans are waiting with bated breath for the official announcement, especially since the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has only increased hopes for a similar fate for the post-nuclear hits. Many expected the announcement of Fallout 3 and New Vegas to happen immediately after the finale of the second season of the Fallout series, but the miracle didn't happen. Now, the community has a new straw to grasp at. It remains to be seen whether this latest leak will turn into a real project or just an unfortunate coincidence.
