Atomic Heart will conclude its story with the Blood on Crystal expansion in April

Mundfish Studios has announced the release date of the fourth and final expansion for its popular retrofuturistic action game, Atomic Heart. The final chapter, titled Blood of Crystal, will go on sale on April 16, 2026. Along with the announcement, the developers released a trailer revealing plot details and the new threats players will face.

The expansion will take place in the Crystal Complex, where protagonist P-3 and his faithful companion, Twin, must travel for the final confrontation with HRAZ. The developers promise an uncompromising and bloody battle, in which the protagonists will have to face not only the most insane bosses of Enterprise 3826 but also a completely new enemy type – Polymorphs. These opponents, it seems, will pose a serious challenge even for battle-hardened players.

Thus, "Blood of Crystal" will bring an end to the story begun in the original Atomic Heart, released in 2023. Three expansions were previously released: "The Mendeleev Institute," "Tragedy at the Mtsensk Resort," and "The Siege of Limbo." Each expanded the universe, adding new locations, weapons, and mechanics. Now, fans can look forward to the epic conclusion of the saga, which should tie up all the plot threads and answer any remaining questions.
